Celebrating Sheffield’s 25 Years of Success

The Clubs listed below offer training for those with intellectual disability alongside others, athletes can then register with Special Olympics Sheffield to be able to compete in Special Olympic events.

Boccia

Boccia Sheffield trains at Talbot Specialist School on most Monday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on some Sunday mornings. For more information contact mark.dolan.pe.teacher@gmail.com.

Table Tennis

Inclusive Ping Pong runs on Thursdays at Albert Table Tennis Centre, Darnall Baptist Church, Darnall Road, Sheffield. For more information contact albertttcentre@live.co.uk.

Football

Derek Dooley Disability Football Club offers Football Training and Monthly fixtures during Football season for Children and Young people with special educational needs and disabilities. The group promotes physical activity and helps its players to establish and maintain friendships. Sessions are held at Goals Soccer Centre, 95 Norfolk Park Road Sheffield S2 2RB on Saturdays (10am – 12 noon) and cost £3.50.
